Swinging Forehand Volley by Chris Evert
Ergibt sich doch automatisch. Warum wird da so eine Wissenschaft draus gemacht.
Appreciate the short & sweet content.
My favorite Chris Evert
The best!!!
Thank you! This is *exactly* the info I was looking for. 🎾💜 I'm a two-handed backhand 3.0 player and was clueless about what form to use for a backhand volley. My left hand was trying to "help" by actually pushing the racquet which was disastrous as you can imagine. 😂
Robin Soderling had a great forehand and he uses a huge backswing!
Tennis legend...🙏❤️
I disliked Connors in the late 70s and 80's, but he's easily my favorite player now. I think a lot of us feel the same.
I wasted a year as a junior trying to play just like Jimmy, flat groundies with no margin above the net, taking everything on the rise, etc. Then I realized I didn't grow up playing on a lightning-fast wooden gym floor and didn't have those exquisite hands or timing. When I went to a more natural, for me, Western grip, putting more loop in my swings, I experienced more success.
Good
Can't argue with this
Nick my dear awesome coach
Who is teacher?
he should've gone pro in his younger years and made money from tennis
Great stuff
John Evert is a great coach. Great at everything but self promotion! Which I admire in him
Chris still A legend
Really bad to bring rear foot right next to front foot. Rear foot should be behind front foot
RIP Nick. Thank you for everything.
Love this shows there’s more than 1 way to play a successful volley
No nonsense. Loved it !
Best advice, from best player
Jimbo!
When Chris hits an approach shot, you're about to lose the point. Facts.
Thanks Jimbo
A great player.
There's a new Nike Court Lite 3 in town! 😅
the student in this case is much better than the teacher
My favorite! He backed it up!
Thank you for this video. As a two-handed backhand female, it is difficult for me to do a one-handed backhand slice with power. So, it dawned on me one day why not use two hands? This two-handed method gets the job done and disguises it well. I don't care how old it is, it works.
Notes: similar to connors bunt/hockey slap backhand she keeps racquet head on left side of the “V” not using very much forearm/wrist to pronate. More so just lifting/shoving with elbow/tricep/shoulder.
Merci pour ce conseil. Je crois que naturellement on frappe la balle effectivement entre le haut de la jambe (hanche) et en dessous de l'épaule...
I don't think Chris is hitting with any brushing or topspin on her shot...LOL! Though I'm sure she is still deadly accurate,
Now I learned how it loads in serve . Thanks.
good video! I use both one handed and two handed volleys.
Come on Jimbo !! Stop eating gluten and you will lose weight !!!😋😘
He is gorgeous with or without weight! Lol
I don't think he has gained much weight, though. Neither have Borg nor McEnroe, from what I can see.
I'd recognized that grunt anywhere.
When Djokovic serves he has a very similar grunt to Jimbo.
Sman
Connors' serve was a joke. The weakest of the top level men. Serena Williams had a bigger serve than Jimmy.
Yes, it was competent and well placed, but lacked velocity. I think he used it in order to control the point, but he had very few aces with it.
Awesome to watch! Titans of tennis!
I liked Chris Evert from her era, but my favorite was Evonne Goolagong!
False title here: This is no kick serve, but a top spin serve.
Nice serve!! Thanks Chris~~^^
His grunt when he serves (not just in this video. He does it frequently)
God bless Nick always with good health.
My alltime favorite
She kept the ball so deep from corner to corner......
Yes deep, kept opponents back and on the move side to side. She wore down many an opponent this way.
Just the racket for the 2.5 - 3.5 player, right? Like Matt Seeberger?
He takes the racket as a stick
Actually I really find it beautiful to look at but I cant do it Before but due to strain on my right arm, This technique Really removed Alot of Load and Stress in my dominant hand. So health wise it is very practical to share the stress and damage on both hands instead of on the dominant hand for 40-50yrs of playing.
